For the fourth consecutive year, we are proud to support Dynamo Camp, the first Recreational Therapy camp in Italy, which provides free accommodations to children and teenagers aged 6 to 17 who suffer from serious or chronic illnesses, whether they are in therapy or post-hospitalization, along with their families.
The camp is located in Limestre, in the province of Pistoia, within a WWF-affiliated oasis spanning over 900 hectares. Here, the children can develop their skills through numerous recreational and expressive activities, all structured according to the Dynamo Recreational Therapy model, which not only offers fun and enjoyment but also helps the children regain self-confidence and trust in their abilities.
This year, our support focuses on the storytelling activity, which mainly involves children (aged 6-12) in sessions dedicated exclusively to them and/or in sessions with their families. This activity excites us particularly because it allows everyone to participate: those who tell the story, those who listen, and those who simply take part, making every child an integral part of a story.
Palladio Group has been a supporter of Dynamo Camp since 2021, having supported various projects including Hip Hop and the Ceramics Workshop. This year, we have also initiated a corporate volunteer programme with Dynamo Camp, involving 15 employees who, after specific training, dedicate their time to the programs and activities of Dynamo Camp with the children and their families.
Supporting Dynamo Camp means offering concrete help in pursuing their mission: ensuring the right to happiness.
